Martin Kelly

We want him. Please Rafa? Why must Premiership teams insist on keeping youngsters on the bench where they'll never compete against the likes of Arbeloa and Carragher instead of letting them out to lower league clubs on loan? No harm done to Liverpool, Kelly gets match experience, our squad is bolstered some more, seriously, what is one bad thing?! Well at least Skarzy should be able to do the job.

Word to the wise, never post a blog about football after having left one of those old-timey kettles on...no es bueno.

First, an introduction

Hi, my name's Gavin, and I'll be talking about the breaking news and smaller issues in English football.

For my first post I'll start with a background, I'm a Huddersfield Town fan and have been since I was born, also a Man U fan owing to the fact my dad supports them, and his dad and so on and so forth. My brother however defected away from the Red Devils a while ago to, of all teams, L**ds United before settling with Liverpool, ironically enough this was when L**ds went down, coincidence much?

In the European competitions I want all British teams to do well, which is why I don't want Chelsea to do well; chairman: Russian, manager: Italian, number of English players: I'll have a look to get the exact number but I can count them on one hand. And then my mum says I should support them and uses the patriotism argument!!

On a national level, it's England all the way!! Otherwise Spain all the way!! Otherwise Scotland all the way!! Otherwise it's just whoever France, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Argentina or Brazil are playing.
